We had a really fun Memorial Day weekend this year. Filled with SO many activities.
Part 1 - Lakehouse
Friday -
We left for our annual laketrip with the college clan for a couple of nights. This year there were 5 couples, 4 babies/toddlers and 2 babies on the way! Grandma was headed up to Corsicana with Madi and offered to drive Maya up there so Charlie and I could finish packing and run errands. Maya got to see her great-grandparents today after several months. We finally made it to Corsicana, picked up Maya from Nanny and Papaw's house and headed to Cedar Creek Lake. The lakehouse is only 45 minutes from Nanny and Papaw's so this was perfect to be able to visit both in one weekend.
Within a half hour of getting to the lake, all the clan arrived and the party began. By party, I mean it was a bunch of us diapering, feeding, bathing and putting kiddos to bed! A whee bit different from our trip 2 years ago when we were doing all the above but it was for ourselves! Finally after the kids were in bad, we had burgers and dogs and lots of catching up to do with the girls/guys.
Saturday -
Maya was nice enough to sleep in to 8 this morning. We were loving it! After Maya had some stander time and breakfast, we began the say-long play date.
Just look at all these kiddos - Maya and Kaitlin traded kisses while Kate waited for her turn! I think little Ben was still eating (or maybe trying to stay away from the ladies).

Part 2 - Jamie's 4th Birthday party
Sunday -
After a morning boatride, Charlie, Maya and I headed back to Corsicana for a birthday lunch with Papaw (he turned 85!) and Jamie's petting zoo birthday party. Maya had such a great time at the party.

Part 3 - Visit to Sugar Land
Monday -
Today was Grandpa's birthday, so we headed to Sugar Land to help him celebrate. Lots of BBQ and cake!

Say a little prayer. Maya just loves sitting at Nani's temple! She likes to ring the bell and give the Gods kisses.
After naptime, Maya visited her Nana's house. Nana pushes Maya around in her stander.
