Maya's funny sentences

Maya's always been a little comedian but I guess I haven't jotted them down lately. Here's a couple from this week to the new babysitter.

Saying bye to Allyson:

Maya: Bye Allyson, see you tomorrow

Allyson: Bye, Maya

Maya: Okay, bye. TAKE CARE!

Talking to Allyson about the Lion King

Maya: So you will bring over Lion King tomorrow?

Allyson: Yes, we can watch it tomorrow

Maya: Good. I just want to CHILL OUT tomorrow!

 
In the car, she likes to tell me that she is "working" and how she has had a long day just "working all the time" and shaking her head. She has this little red notebook that I got her from the children's hospital at her last blood draw. Since then she has been inseparable with this notebook (and its matching red pen of course), but she never takes it out of the car. She knows that its her "work" and she only works in the car. Silly girl.

MDA Muscle Walk

This year’s MDA Muscle walk was at the Galleria. We had several friends and family members who were able to participate. Thank you all for your continued support! 

Kaden starts MDO

Kaden started a Mother’s Day Out program this month. He cries when I leave him like he does every Sunday at church, but then he is usually okay in 5 minutes. The program only has 4 kids in the class and it is once a week from 9-2:30. We shall see how this works out! At least he gets ample time to play outside and Maya gets some "alone" time at home in order to do crafts and other fun things that Kaden will just take away from her :-)

Maya meets the Mayor of Houston

The Houston chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association asked Maya to be on their Houston Fire Department Fill-the-Boot campaign stickers. She took the picture last November with the Houston firefighter and the Kick-off event for the three fill-the-boot campaigns was at Houston’s city council meeting. Maya was able to meet Houston city council members and even the Mayor of Houston!

SOOOO  cute!  And I say that like a million times in the video. Maya is tickled about her brother showing her so much affection. I love, love, love these little guys. Wonderful memories.
