2010 MDA Stride and Ride

We participated in our first walk for Maya and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We had a team of 33 walkers at The Woodlands Mall and raised almost $2900. We named our team Maya's Mile. She had such a great time - smiling ear to ear as she had all the room in the world to push her little wheelchair. Her cousins took turns as they held Maya's hand and Maya pushed with the other hand (like the video we posted with Kaitlin!) It was so cute. Maya kept on saying "Mommy, watch" "Daddy, watch". There were several little kiddos there from KPMG also. Very thankful to everyone that joined us in walking and sponsorship. Next year I will know what I am getting into and hope to better plan everything out. Maya's name was called in a drawing and we should be getting a Wii soon!! Click here for the pics.
