Sound familiar. Its Dora and Swiper. Maya is IN LOVE with this phrase. Everything this week has been "awww man". She has finally replaced "uh oh" at least. It is pretty funny to her grandparents who don't know the origin. They think she just picked it up from the outside. No, sorry, obviously she is spending too much time watching Dora. Luckily, Dora (and Yvonne) have taught her some Spanish that could be put to good use some day!
Things have been same ole around here. We took Maya to the park last weekend and it was fun until I realized that the other parents were probably staring at us because her brace would show every now and again and we had to lay her flat to slide down if she was by herself. To be honest, it looked a little weird, but she was having such a great time! Its the first day in months that we were able to go out and have fun!

Oh poor girl with equipment too small - at least it gives all these appts coming up a great purpose other than keeping her current and healthy. I love the pic from the park - you guys look like you are having a great time!

I can totally identify with the "Awww Man!" :) I was pushing Haley through the grocery store recently and she said very loudly, "Mom...tell me if you see Swiper! You tell him, "Swiper no swiping!"." A guy buying shampoo looked up and grinned at me with that "I too have kids who adore Dora" look. :)
